My stay at Wauwinet was absolutely delightful! The warm welcome and attentive staff made all the difference. I loved the charming atmosphere and the peaceful setting by the bay. The beautiful cottage we stayed in offered stunning sunset views, although I think having a Nespresso machine would have made those rainy mornings even cozier. Overall, this is a little slice of paradise that I can't wait to return to.

My stay at The Wauwinet was absolutely delightful! The location was stunning, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of town, and the views of both the ocean and bay were mesmerizing. The accommodations were cozy, and the service was outstanding, truly going above and beyond to make our stay special. While the dining options were fantastic, especially dinner at Toppers, I wish breakfast had a few more choices. Overall, the value for the luxurious experience was excellent.

7.6/10

The Wauwinet offers a charming getaway with exceptional views and great dining options, particularly at Topper's. The shuttle service makes it easy to explore Nantucket, and the beautiful grounds are well-maintained. On the downside, some staff seemed unhelpful during our arrival, and we encountered a few surprises with poison ivy on the path to the beach, which was concerning, especially for someone pregnant. Overall, it was a lovely stay but not without its drawbacks.

Rooms
8.0
Our cottage room was beautiful and very comfortable, featuring a gas fireplace and sweet-smelling, starched sheets, though it felt a bit small compared to what we expected.
Service
6.0
The staff's friendliness varied; while some were wonderful, there were moments when we felt dismissed, especially regarding early check-in and inquiries.
Location

Nestled perfectly between the ocean and the bay, the location is serene and convenient for both beach access and town visits via the shuttle service.
Dining
7.0
We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Topper’s, with its gourmet menu and lovely dining atmosphere. However, the complimentary breakfast was rather disappointing.

The shuttle service was super convenient, and the grounds were beautiful, but we wish the lounge service had been faster.

5.0/10

I had high hopes for this luxury resort, but it turned into a rather disappointing experience. While the car service was a nice touch and the breakfast was enjoyable, the overall quality of the room was not at all what I expected for the price. The service was lacking follow-through, leaving me feeling unheard. It's unfortunate because there are certainly better options available in town.

Rooms
5.0
The room was cramped and poorly decorated, giving off a vibe that felt outdated and uninviting. The small size made it hard to unpack comfortably, and the 'superior view' was a letdown.
Service
5.0
The service at the resort was responsive, but the overall experience was marred by poor communication and unfulfilled promises.
Location
6.0
While the resort offered a serene atmosphere, it was quite a distance from town, making it inconvenient for dining and activities.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was enjoyable, but dinner at Toppers was overpriced for small portions and lacked flavor.
Facilities
5.0
The offered shuttle service was convenient, but the overall facilities felt outdated and in need of maintenance.

My stay was a mix of exceptional service but with some issues regarding room quality. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable, though the room was not what I expected for the price. The location was serene, with beautiful views, but the dining could be expensive and lacked some variety. Overall, while the service was top-notch, the room left a lot to be desired, making this a difficult place to fully recommend.

Rooms
5.0
The room felt outdated and cramped with mismatched furnishings and a musty smell. It didn't meet the expectations set by the price I paid.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, especially with staff members like James who were attentive and friendly.
Location
9.0
The hotel is beautifully situated right by the bay, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle of the town.
Dining
7.0
Although Toppers had a nice atmosphere, the meal was pricey with small portions, and the service could be improved.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacked modern amenities such as a spa or gym, which could add to the overall experience.
