Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Wauwinet was absolutely delightful! The warm welcome and attentive staff made all the difference. I loved the charming atmosphere and the peaceful setting by the bay. The beautiful cottage we stayed in offered stunning sunset views, although I think having a Nespresso machine would have made those rainy mornings even cozier. Overall, this is a little slice of paradise that I can't wait to return to.
My stay at The Wauwinet was absolutely delightful! The location was stunning, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of town, and the views of both the ocean and bay were mesmerizing. The accommodations were cozy, and the service was outstanding, truly going above and beyond to make our stay special. While the dining options were fantastic, especially dinner at Toppers, I wish breakfast had a few more choices. Overall, the value for the luxurious experience was excellent.
The Wauwinet offers a charming getaway with exceptional views and great dining options, particularly at Topper's. The shuttle service makes it easy to explore Nantucket, and the beautiful grounds are well-maintained. On the downside, some staff seemed unhelpful during our arrival, and we encountered a few surprises with poison ivy on the path to the beach, which was concerning, especially for someone pregnant. Overall, it was a lovely stay but not without its drawbacks.
I had high hopes for this luxury resort, but it turned into a rather disappointing experience. While the car service was a nice touch and the breakfast was enjoyable, the overall quality of the room was not at all what I expected for the price. The service was lacking follow-through, leaving me feeling unheard. It's unfortunate because there are certainly better options available in town.
My stay was a mix of exceptional service but with some issues regarding room quality. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable, though the room was not what I expected for the price. The location was serene, with beautiful views, but the dining could be expensive and lacked some variety. Overall, while the service was top-notch, the room left a lot to be desired, making this a difficult place to fully recommend.
